Se colocaron 50 implantes a mujeres de diferentes edades, de los cuales 10 realizaron primero la remoci\u00f3n del implante vencido para luego renovar su m\u00e9todo anticonceptivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previo a la colocaci\u00f3n del implante subd\u00e9rmico, las j\u00f3venes y adolescentes fueron asesoradas con toda la informaci\u00f3n necesaria acerca del m\u00e9todo de larga duraci\u00f3n. Trabajaron all\u00ed el equipo del Subprograma de Salud Sexual y Reproductiva del Ministerio de Salud y los Dispositivos de Asesor\u00edas en Salud Integral Adolescente y Salud Sexual y Reproductiva del Plan ENIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las y los asesores en salud comentaron acerca de la actividad. \u201cEs muy importante este acontecimiento ya que las adolescentes asistieron por su propia iniciativa, eso habla de su progreso en su autonom\u00eda y as\u00ed poder cuidar su salud. Nos pone contentos que sigan eligiendo este m\u00e9todo de larga duraci\u00f3n tan beneficioso\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El implante subd\u00e9rmico es una varilla muy peque\u00f1a, finita y flexible que se coloca en el brazo (debajo de la piel), con anestesia local. El implante libera una hormona (progest\u00e1geno) en forma continua que inhibe la ovulaci\u00f3n. Una vez colocado te brinda protecci\u00f3n por tres a\u00f1os. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
